Empowering change in lives and communities
Community Gro believes in a safe and equitable community where everyone has the opportunity to lead fulfilling lives.
HIPPY is a two year home-based early childhood enrichment program. HIPPY builds the confidence and skills of parents and carers to create a positive learning environment to prepare their child for school. Children join HIPPY two years before they start formal schooling (usually three years of age).
Family Support Hubs provide early intervention and support to families with children up to 8 years of age.
The Community Gro Upper Ross Youth Hub provides the young people of our region with a safe environment and an opportunity to foster positive relationships with each other, staff, volunteers and mentors.
The Community Connect Program will help during a crisis. But you don’t have to wait for a crisis either. Come in for a cuppa and a chat to get help with sorting out the concerns in your life.
The Community Visitors Scheme is a national program funded by the Australian Government. The service aims to enrich the quality of life of residents of aged care facilities who are socially isolated and lonely.
Connected Beginnings helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children prepare for school. The program contributes to objectives under Closing the Gap.
The No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) provides interest free loans to low-income individuals or families. The loans are for purchasing items up to $1,200.00.
NO Fees, NO Charge, NO Interest.
