Connected Beginnings Rasmussen

Connected Beginnings is a government funded program through the Department of Education for our First Nations families who live in the Upper Ross with the backbone organisation being Community Gro.

It’s a community-led program of a collective impact approach that the CB team have been actively building relationships between the community and services since May 2021. Working from a strength-based approach the team is continuously showing up and being present in the Upper Ross community to help raise voices and collectively work on what impacts the First Nations families on maternal health and to increase the participation for 0-5 year-olds in early education and their health needs. Re-directing and wrapping supports around families who need them through Community Gro and their services.

Closing the gaps in all areas of how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in the Upper Ross can be provided with a culturally safe pathway of engagements with all services. Bring early education and health for these families to the forefront of importance and allow long term sustainable systems change within organisations.

Connected Beginnings Rasmussen has been collaborating with community members and services over the last 3 years to develop the Connected Beginnings Rasmussen SEER Data Platform.
